These terms apply to website design and build work carried out by Web Design Dungannon, 33 Castle Glen Avenue, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. They are written to be read rather than skipped. Anything agreed in writing for a specific project takes precedence over what is below.
Web Design Dungannon is a trading name of Denis M., sole trader, of 33 Castle Glen Avenue, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone BT71 6YF. Email: hello@webdesigndungannon.uk.
What you are quoted
Before any work begins you receive the pages to be built, the price and the launch date in writing. That price does not change unless you ask for something that was not on the list, and anything extra is quoted and agreed before it is started.
Payment
Payment is in two parts: 50% to book the start date, and 50% on the day the website goes live. Invoices are due within 14 days. Work is scheduled once the first payment is received.
Revisions
Each package includes a set number of revisions, listed on the pricing page. A revision means you review the site and send your comments together. Further revisions, or changes to work that has already been approved, are quoted separately.
What you provide
Text, photographs, logos and any factual details are provided by you, or approved by you if they are drafted on your behalf. You confirm you have the right to use anything you supply. Delays in providing or approving content move the launch date.
Who owns what
Once the final invoice is paid, the finished website is yours. The domain is registered in your name from the start. You can request the website files at any time and take them to another provider. Stock photographs, typefaces and other third-party assets keep their own licences, which are passed to you where the licence allows.
Hosting and support
The first twelve months of hosting, domain registration, SSL, backups and support are included in the price of the website. After that, support is optional and billed monthly, and can be cancelled at any time with no notice period. If you cancel, the files and the domain are handed over and help moving them is included.
Stopping the work
Either side can stop the project in writing. If you stop it, the deposit covers work already carried out and nothing further is owed. If it is stopped from this side, any part of the deposit not covering work already done is refunded.
Limits
Search engine positions, enquiry numbers and sales are not guaranteed by anyone honest, and they are not guaranteed here. What is guaranteed is that the website is built as specified, works on current browsers and phones, and is fixed if it does not.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland.
